Resonance.

Everything in the world possesses a ‘natural frequency’ at which it vibrates when disturbed. Imagine plucking a guitar string and the vibrations that create a note. When energy that matches something's natural frequency is applied to it, the vibrations are intensified. Scientists call this ‘resonance’ and it goes beyond the physical realm.

When we say something resonates with us, we mean that it strikes a chord in our hearts and minds. It deeply connects with our feelings in a way that is personal and powerful. It doesn’t just make sense in our mind — it feels meaningful.

Emotional resonance connects us to the world and the people around us. Whether in the physical or emotional realm, resonance makes things louder, stronger, or even shake apart. This presents an opportunity to provoke change and inspire healing.

Psychiatry.

Psychiatry is the branch of medicine dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor (an M.D. or D.O.) who specializes in mental health, including substance use disorders.

To become a psychiatrist, an individual must graduate with a Bachelor's degree, complete medical school, pass several national licensing examinations, and undergo four years of specialized residency training.

As licensed physicians, psychiatrists can order or perform a full range of medical laboratory and psychological tests. These assessments, combined with patient discussions, help to create a complete picture of a patient’s physical and mental state.

Notice:

I am currently only accepting patients who are interested in either therapy alone or therapy combined with medication management. I am not taking on patients who are seeking medication management exclusively.
